The Spanish coasts



Spain is a country that enjoys about 4,000 kilometers of beautiful coasts which are bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, the Cantabrian Sea or the Mediterranean Sea. The perfect climate that exists along these beaches helps Spain attract millions and millions of tourists who come from all corners of the world to spend wonderful, relaxing holidays on its beaches.



The Mediterranean

The Mediterranean Sea bathes the spectacular Costa Brava. You’ll find spectacular landscapes here, dominated by rugged coastlines or by coves and beaches covered with delicate golden sands. The southern part of the coast offers its tourists resorts such as del Azahar, Valencia or Daurada. Andalusia is the province that is home to resorts like Tropical, Almeria and the outstanding, warm and sunny Costa del Sol. If you decide to visit Marbella Malaga, you might get the chance to see some international stars because it is one of their favorite resorts.



The Gibraltar Strait



The Mediterranean Sea is linked with the Atlantic Ocean by the Strait of Gibraltar. This connection has given birth to the Costa de Luz and has formed beautiful beaches at Huelva, Cadiz and Galicia. Unfortunately for Galicia, tourists can go to the beach only in the summer as the weather it experiences at other times is less hot and very wet.



Bay of Biscay


The Bay of Biscay, which is part of the Atlantic Ocean, bathes the shores in the northern part of the country. You can go to the beach in San Sebastian, Santander or Gijon. The beaches in these cities are surrounded by spectacular green, breathtaking landscapes that will make you fall in love with this part of Spain.



The Balearic and the Canary Islands

Choosing only one certain beach to visit in Spain is a difficult thing to do, so try to visit as many as possible. You will love them all!
